Nearly 40 remixers submitted their interpretations of "M.O.N.I" in this first remix contest. We would like to thank all the contestants for their effort. Choosing the winners was extremely difficult, because more than half of submitted material was very, very good. The style ranged from different sub-genres of trance through house, drum'n'bass, electronica, dance to experimental music. We even received one "live" remix :). The CAPP Records crew together with DJ Cobra narrowed the entries down to best 15, and then to final top 5 winners. This process took about 3 weeks. We had so many excellent remixes that CAPP Records decided to release not top 3 but TOP 5 remixes. All TOP 5 remixes become a part of Maxi CD "M.O.N.I" which you can GET here!

Now, without further ado, we are proud to announce our top 5 winners (in no particular order):

1st of TOP 5 "Zheka Uplifting Remix"

"Yevgeniy Bednik aka Zheka, born 1982 in Ukraine, lived couple years in LA, USA. While being a resident at Russian night club, he became interested in producing electronic music himself - he thought that it would truly reveal his true self to the public that he performed to. Trance he produces packs a solid punch, albeit with a distinctly European sound and some very recognisable trance sounds. Total remix, definitely best mix for originality."

2nd of TOP 5 "Ilan Shenkar Remix"

"Ilan Shenkar, 18 years old, from Israel has been producing music since 2000. His inspiration is based on the mood, thoughts, feelings, places he visits, producing every genre available - rock, ethnic, new age, trance, house, commercional music and some experimental too. Melodic trance based on powerful commercial lead with passion."

3rd of TOP 5 "Gerry V Remix"

"Gerard J. Vargas aka Gerry V. or "The Mad Scientist" from California, USA, is a rising commercial music producer, professional DJ, remixer and film scorer specializing in a wide variety of genres (Hip Hop/R&B, Electronica, Latin, and Pop). Gerry's versatility and technical understanding of classical music theory coupled with his 'perfectionist' view of music production make Gerry's music stand out in a musical era. Gerry's career is emerging at a fast rate after producing remixes such as Arthur Hanlon's 'La Gorda Linda' featuring Tito Nieves, for Fonovisa Records, Darryl D'Bonneau's 'Cry' for Lifeline records and other remixes for European dance labels. A remix with best arrangement, CAPP's favourite."

4th of TOP 5 "Barcoda Project Remix"

"Igor Danilovic, 21 from Switzerland, born in Montenegro. From a singer in metalcore band called Elenorbut he switched to become a producer of Trance Music, cause he thinks its realy good way to combine emotions and experience of life together. In October 2004 was his first release on the Trance Battle Episode 2 Compilation presented by the well known german star Mario Lopez. In October 2005 he signed a track to Enhanced Records that will be released in January 2006 under the name Passenger 75. Trancy racey mix, DJ Cobra's favourite remix."

5th of TOP 5 "Arjen Van Roijen Remix"

"Steffen Schulz aka Arjen Van Roijen, 23 years old from Germany, started djing at age 16 and loves dutch trance. He defines his music style as Excessive Trance (vocal, dutch, uk hard, club, techno). In 2001 started producing music with Fruity Loops, Hammerhead, Rebirth to finaly stick to Reason. Dutch underground trance."
